we want to talk about camping. As Ontario reopens along with the rest of Canada it will be great to get out into the rustic aspect of nature. This is possible where ever you are and not just exclusive to Canada, though I will be talking about Ontario.
Camping in Ontario is a great opportunity for free camping as Canadian residents can camp up to 21 days free of charge on any crown lands. These lands are not maintained and are usually remote, therefore it is important to do your research of the area you want to camp before actually going. Here are a few tips to bear in mind to help make your camping trip successful

If possible visit the area of land before actually going for camping as that will give you an idea of what to expect. Make sure to go during the day and walk around and survey the area
Choose an area that is close to the lake as you must be reminded that this is not camping in the park, therefore having access to water is necessary for many reasons, as well as it will keep the area cooler
Make a list of all the items you will need for the camping trip and mark off each item as you collect them as well as on the day of your camping trip
Make sure to have a first aid and necessity kit. You never know if you may come across a bear or rodent.
Be sure to pack enough food and water for the period you are camping, it is better to left over than shortage of food
Stock up on batteries and items to light your fire, also check your tents to make sure everything works
Make sure to have emergency items such as heat packs, and cold packs, blankets and extra towels, weather appropriate clothing and rain gears
Always have sanitation and hygiene products as you will need them
Make sure to have a compass, pocket knives and a tool kit, this is a must have for any camping trip
Last but not least check your car to make sure it will be able to take you back and forth to where you are camping. Make sure the camp grounds where you want to set up is dry and suitable to erect your tents. When it comes to where you are cooking also make sure it is a dry and airy area where there will be no accidents of a fire erupting. Always have an emergency extinguisher. Even if you are not living in Canada these tips on camping will still work, you will however need to adjust your arrangement based on the area or country you live in and adhere to the laws as it pertains to camping
As Covid lock down is lifted across the world it is important to get out and enjoy nature. Even if you cannot go on a camping trip, then still get out and consume nature even for an entire day. The world has been lock down for over a year and we have been stuck behind screens and are zoom fatigue.

I believe in living life in a simple yet fulfilling stratosphere. Simple doesn't mean denying yourself  of all the great things that life has to offer. Life was meant to be lived on your own terms and not  on someone else's. It is about you.
