How do you get your garden ready for Summer. One of the things about living simple is losing yourself in the wonders of nature. If you are someone who is in tune with the universe and loves being in nature then a well manicured garden is worth investing in by getting your garden beautifully decorated for summer, or even if you do not have a garden you can adorn your home with fresh flowers bought from the nurseries or plant stores
If you live in places such as Canada or where it snows most months of the year, having the warm months approaching, which is called patio season is one of the simple enjoyments in getting your garden ready for all the welcome heat. Therefore let us talk about tips to having a simple yet beautiful garden for the summer months
During the summer we will no doubt be spending a lot of time in the garden to soak up the warmth. This year is especially special because apart from just being happy that the cold months are over, the entire world has been locked down for over a year due to Covid and people are tired of being inside. Let us get what we need to get our gardens ready
Before you start first go out into your garden and see what needs to be replaced and also where do you want to plant your flowers. Figure out how many flowers do you need to buy and also will you need to buy pots too.
Work on getting the garden beds or flower pots ready by weeding and pruning the areas where you want to plant. Dig up the soil to see where needs top soil as well as remove pebbles and other debris
Make a list of what exactly what you need, the number of flowers or how many different types of flowers, will you need ,annuals as oppose to perennials? Do you need top soil and do you need to buy extra soil, as well as plant food. Also do you have the tools that are needed to help with planting the flowers. If the old tools are broken then you need to replace them. You will also need to pick up fertilizer as this is very important in maintaining a healthy garden bed throughout the summer

Now that you have made your list and you have gathered your tools, flowers and items needed lets begin
1. Rake the garden spot taking off the top soil damaged from the many months of winter and set that aside 2. The soil that is left keep rotating and mixing it together, getting rid of anything left over from the cold. Pour water on the soil while turning it over 3. Add fertilizer and continue to turn over and mix the soil getting the soil revived again. 4. Choose the combination of flowers you want to plant, and the spot where you want to plant and how you want it arranged. 5. If you want to also plant flowers into pots, mix and match how you want your flowers to be arranged. You definitely want to have your garden highlighted with colourful striking flowers 6. Apply topsoil while digging a hole to put your flowers in, while lining them up 7. Add mulch while kneading your soil and patting the soil around the flowers 8. Apply more water to the soil and arrange the flowers accordingly putting those that need sunlight in the direction of the sun. Pour in a bit of plant food to give your plants and flowers a healthy look 9. After you are done with your arrangement it is time for you to step back and look at your handy work. Make sure to water your flowers as often as they need it. Apart from making your environment scenic plants and flowers bring a sense of calmness and and feeling of serenity

Keep a close watch as your flowers and plants grow making sure they are free from insects and weeds. Make sure to go and hang out often into your garden to take in the hot summer days because it goes by very quickly. Let simplicity meets you where you are. Have you started planting your flowers and preparing your garden, leave your comments below and tell us how it is going

I believe in living life in a simple yet fulfilling stratosphere. Simple doesn't mean denying yourself  of all the great things that life has to offer. Life was meant to be lived on your own terms and not  on someone else's. It is about you.
